THE CHILDREN'S BREAD

It is God's desire to see His children live well and prosper .

1.) Jesus became the Lamb of God so that we might become the children of God.
"For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." 2 Corinthians 5:21
2.) Jesus was wounded that I might be healed.
"But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed." Isaiah 53:5
3.) Jesus defeated all of our enemies.
"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10
4.)Jesus endured my poverty that I might share His abundance.

"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich." 2 Corinthians 8:9
5.) Jesus was made a curse that I might receive the blessing.
"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'*) that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." Galatians 3:13
6.) Jesus protects us from evil.
"who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age." Galatians 1:4
7.) Jesus gives us eternal life.
"...that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil. Hebrews 2:14
